Welcome NSU Students,

The Student Alumni Association (SAA) is an organization established to enhance the relationship between students, alumni and Northwestern State University. We have a focus on the traditions that have been made at NSU since its creation as the Louisiana State Normal School in 1884. We are striving to become the most active student organization at Northwestern State University and would love to see you be a part of that mission. If you are a current Northwestern State student, then please JOIN THE SAA by clicking on link on the right side of the page, to receive a first-time membership prize package as well as entrance in our monthly drawings. As a member you will also be eligible for special prizes, will be able to attend SAA exclusive events, and will be able to participate in our points system that will allow you to earn even more great prizes from the SAA. Finally, below you will see our calendar of activities. The calendar is constantly being updated, so check back as often as possible so that you do not miss anything that the SAA has to offer. The Student Alumni Association is led by the SAAE (Student Alumni Association Executive Board) and is sponsored and advised through the Alumni Association at Northwestern State University.  Please visit the committee pages to meet the SAA Executive officers and find out what each committee is up to.

Make sure that if you want to attend an SAA event, you RSVP on this site.  See the following for instructions on how to RSVP for an event: 

Go to the SAA Calendar and find the event that you would like to attend. Click on that event and then find the Register button, then click on it and fill out the simple form....THAT's IT! Please do this for every event that you would like to attend so that the SAAE can know how many students they should be expecting. This will also help with drawings and prizes while at the events.
