Students who have attended Northwestern State University since the Summer of 1985 have the option of sending transcripts by one of the following methods:
Electronic PDF
This option delivers official transcripts within minutes after process transcript requests submitted 8:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M., Monday-Friday. In addition, this option offers quick delivery and avoids extra delivery charges for express mail. The official transcript is formatted as a PDF and is digitally signed, ensuring authenticity and security. You may order your transcript online at http://iwantmytranscript.com. The cost to send an electronic transcript is $3.25 per transcript. Printed and Sent by US Mail
With this option, requests are processed and mailed within approximately three working days after receipt of a written, dated and signed request, provided the student is not indebted to the University. A fee of $5.00 will be charged for each transcript request in excess of five per semester. Processing of transcript requests at the end of a semester may take longer.
Students who attended Northwestern State University prior to summer 1985 may only obtain their official academic hard copy transcript by submitting a written, dated and signed request.
Complete and print the online Transcript Request Form, sign and mail it to the University Registrar's Office, Northwestern State University, Room 108, Roy Hall, Natchitoches, LA 71497. Transcript requests my also be faxed to (318) 357-5823.
- Cash, check or a money order will be accepted in the University Registrar's Office in Room 108-Roy Hall for written transcript requests in excess of five per semester.
- Charges must be paid in advance by faxing the MasterCard, Visa or American Express credit card information to (318) 357-4257 or by mailing a check or money order to Northwestern State University, Student Accounts, PO Box 2419, Natchitoches, LA 71457-2419. Upon confirmation of your payment, the transcript request will be processed.
- If a student has any financial obligations to the University, the balance must be paid in full before an official transcript can be printed.
- There is no charge for unofficial transcripts. Unofficial transcript copies may be downloaded via the Web for Students system at http://www2.nsula.edu.
The Alumni Office cannot provide transcripts. They can only be obtained through the Registrar's Office. If you have any questions regarding your transcript, contact the Registrar's Office at (318) 357-6171.
