The Northwestern State University Foundation was established as a non-profit organization on May 20, 1960. The mission of the Northwestern State University Foundation is to serve the University, its students and its faculty, primarily through financial resources raised and distributed by the corporation.
The primary objectives & purposes of the Northwestern State University Foundation are to promote the educational and cultural welfare of Northwestern State University, to aid any student in continuing his or her studies at the University, to solicit and accept funds of all kinds for the purpose of providing scholarships and activities in research or other benefits for the University, its faculty and students and to exercise all powers and authority for the accomplishments of the objectives and purpose of the corporation.
There are many ways to support Northwestern State University, including joining the President's Council, creating an endowment, leaving a real estate gift to the university or leaving a planned gift to NSU. Click here to see all the different ways you can support NSU.
