Since its founding, Northwestern's Annual Fund has supported excellence at Northwestern State University. Annual Fund donors have enabled Northwestern to strengthen its programs for the benefit of all students.
The many “extras” that make the vital difference between a good program and a great one are dependent on support from the Annual Fund Drive.
Gifts to the annual fund provide support for the following programs:
- Alumni scholarships
- Distinguished faculty awards given by each college
- Assistance with faculty activities
- Alumni Hall of Distinction: Long Purple Line
- Campus activities, including Homecoming, Retirees Group, Job Fairs, Greek Events, and Student Recruitment, alumni E-news and Gradfest.
- Reunions
- Nationwide alumni initiatives
- Alumni Center maintenance/upkeep
- Website development and maintenance
All Annual Fund donors receive:
- A tax deduction (dependent on the gift and your tax situation)
- The Alumni Columns
- A recognition gift based on the level of giving

Demon Club - $50
Century Club - $100
Purple Club - $250
1884 Club -$500
Columns Club - $1,000
