What better way to show your pride for your alma mater then with a new, official NSU graduation ring! The University’s official ring is designed to embody the spirit of Northwestern State University. The purple stone represents the university’s primary color, and also features the 3 columns. Additional imagery includes the front entrance of the university; the university’s seal; pine and oak leaves; crape myrtle trees; bricks that symbolize Front Street; and the final watchword of our Alma Mater – Loyalty. Students who order rings can participate in the official ring ceremony each semester. A variety of metals are also available.
The Alumni Plaza is a brick courtyard prominently located at the heart of Northwestern’s campus. It is an area to honor former students, faculty, and others who wish to celebrate their ties to NSU. Brick pavers surrounding the fountain are available, for $100, if you would like a permanent and visible commemoration for any student, alumni, faculty/staff, or friend of NSU.
Besides beautifying campus, proceeds from each brick sold go to fund scholarships for deserving NSU students. 3 Lines and 13 characters including spaces are available on each brick paver.
